Being a tech addict, I love tinkering with softwares and hardwares in my computer. I never got the guts to dissect my currently used laptop but I did it on my old one. Anyway, I just have a tip for those of you who are newbies on this.

Do not be afraid to tinker and explore your laptop. Nothing will go wrong. Well, what I meant was, worst case, your computer will just crash but believe me, I went through all that and discovered that nothing can go wrong with your laptop or computer.

For example, when I first used the windows XP waaaay back, I discovered slideshow making myself. At first, I though windows movie maker was for movie makers! (uhm, I took it literally?) but then after five minutes of exploring the buttons, I made my first video!

Anyway, for those of you who are already “experts” in slideshow making or short music video making, I suggest you check-out cleanandclearphil.multiply.com because you have a huuuuuuge chance of winning.

Tough times make stars save money

http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/content/hhs/phs/drawingtheline/images/money.gif
Well, I admire Rufa Mae for what she decided to do- save money. She minimized her spending even though she is earning more than enough. This is something everyone must do. Again, we all know that, the higher the earnings, the bigger the spendings. I am a witness of that in my own life.

I once earned a big amount I never imagined I can earn in my current age now. I buy this, buy that. Sometimes when I go out to the mall. I would always think of something to buy for myself or for someone else. It was just like my hands were itchy.

After this financial crisis occured where everything started to go up, my earnings went down and there I go. I felt it hit me where it hurts- my pocket.

I had several pending payments that, I know I wouldn’t go through if my earnings were this much now.

It’s easy to say that you’d save more and spend little even if you are earning big. some things are just easier said than done.

Well, not only common people get affected but, stars get affected too.

Kudos to Rufa Mae Quinto for making other stars and people aware.

How to take care of Layered hair?

http://www.hairzingers.com/images/sce/sandra-bullock-long-layered-hair.jpg
Taking care of layered hair

Never brush hair when wet. Brushing tugs at the hair and damages the strands, so use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb while your hair is still wet.

Shampoo correctly. Shampoo should not be rubbed vigorously onto the hair, as commonly seen in shampoo commercials, as this propagates breakage when the strands rub against each other. Lather the shampoo first on the palm, and then caress hair with fingertips until the lather spreads evenly. For long hair, make sure to bring fingers down to the ends of the hair so that the shampoo is evenly distributed.

Condition with care. Apply conditioner the same way the shampoo is applied – do not throw all your hair forward to rub conditioner in. Leave the conditioner on for five minutes with particular attention to the tips, and then rinse by running the water down the hair tips.

Don’t rub hair with towel. Towelling prevents natural oils from spreading to the tips. Don’t squeeze the water out of your hair with the towel, just dab and blot the water out to prevent breakage and loss of oils.

Don’t blow dry hot. It is best to air-dry hair, or use an electric fan, or a blow-dryer on the cool setting, as wet hair is more prone to breakage when exposed to heat.

Things You Need To Enjoy Your Summer Activities

Things You Need To Enjoy Your Summer Activities

http://www.ndesign-studio.com/images/portfolio/illustration/summer-1.jpg

# You should always rinse out your swimsuits after you swim in chlorinated or salt water. Rinsing your bathing suit with fresh water simply elongates the life of the elastic and strengthens the elasticity of the fabric which could end up brittle if not handled with care. A good thing to carry in your toiletry bag is a small bottle of mild detergent like Woolite. Pour a small amount on the sink and soak your swimsuit for a few minutes, then rinse and hang to dry.

# Everyone should have a great sun block because to go out under the hot sun without it is just plain suicidal. For sun block, you have a wide array of choices. Choose function over high-end brands and stick to the basics. Try Water Babies by Coppertone, it has a high sun protection factor. It is also cheap and waterproof. Not only does it function really well, it stays on longer because it’s made for kids who like to play in the water for long periods of time.

# For facial sun block, you may have to spend a little bit more. La Prarie facial sun block rocks because it has an SPF 50. If you want to hide a few imperfections check out Shiseido’s Sun Protection liquid foundation with an SPF 45. Not only does it give you full coverage, it’s also waterproof. You can actually swim while looking flawless!

Lesson, learn how to save money! spend only 10 percent if you can, or save at least 10 percent if you can. saving money doesn’t mean you are not enjoying your hard worked money. it just means, getting ready to face the future.
many celebrities, spend a lot, like there is no tomorrow and like their careers wont end at one point. this is what happens….
