STIR reported Manny Pacquiao returned to ABS-CBN because of money. And he returned to GMA because of money too. That’s why he’s being tagged now not as Kapuso but Kapera. 

Manny, not being able to stand firm on his decision, shows a major character flaw. It’s enough to conclude he has a wishy-washy attitude and that will not be easy to remove in people’s mind. He did it not twice but thrice already, which shows him as a poor decisionmaker and an opportunist. Probably he’s up against the wall with his contract with Solar Sports but it shows a big flaw in his decision-making ability. When you’re a celebrity planning a political career, you don’t do that. It’s terrible public relations. But that’s probably beyond Manny to understand.

The buzz is that Lily Monteverde, producer of Regal Films, is set to go after Angel Locsin for the contract that she has supposedly not yet fulfilled. Angel was set to do a movie with Regal Films, but was not able to do so because of her transfer from GMA7 to ABS-CBN. Now that she is all settled with her new network, it is time for Mother Lily to collect a debt owed to her. ‘Settled’ is what BuzzBox calls a period in the career of an artist where he or she does not have any projects – or if that artist does have, they would be morning dew in a desert.

GMA’s Dyesebel is the first television version of Mar Ravelo’s well-loved tale about a cursed mermaid. Marian did not want to pre-empt her selection to play the role so she was hesitant to talk about it during her launching as Karimadon image model.

Marami ang nakakapansin ng madalas na paggi-guest ni Ara Mina sa Dos lately. Kaya naman malakas ang ugong ng balita na unti-unti na nga raw naghahanap ng ibang bahay ang sexy actress. Pero nang mainterview naman si Ara recently ay dineny niya ang speculations. Hindi raw siya lilipat ng ABS-CBN.

Hindi naman niya dinetalye ang dahilan kung bakit siya madalas magguest sa mga shows ng Dos. Sinabi lang niyang wala siyang exclusive contract with GMA 7 kaya malaya siyang makakatanggap ng offer sa ibang istasyon.

Pero ilang malalapit na kaibigan sa kampo ni Ara ang nagpapatunay na may sama ng loob nag aktres sa Siyete at ang ginagawa niyang pagrerebelde ang guestings niya sa rival station. Dismayado raw kasi si Ara dahil wala siyang gaanong show sa GMA 7. Tanging ‘Bubble Gang’ lang ang show niya.

Well, since she has no exclusive contract, she can freely transfer anyway. Its just that, GMA is not giving her anymore shows thats why she feels that way.

Matatandaang last week, October 3, ay na-confine si Iwa sa Perpetual Help Medical Center sa Las Piñas dahil sa appendicitis. Isang appendectomy ang isinagawa kay Iwa, kasabay ng pagtatanggal ng isang cyst na nadiskubre malapit sa ovary ng StarStruck graduate.

“Kagagaling ko nga lang sa bahay ni Iwa, pero tulog siya. Hindi ko na ginising para makapagpahinga,” pahayag ni Cris sa PEP nang kumustahin namin sa kanya si Iwa.

Ayon pa kay Cris, madalas ay tulog si Iwa dahil sa mga gamot na iniinom.

Pero nalaman din namin sa handler ni Iwa na ngayong araw, October 10, ay magte-taping na ulit si Iwa para sa Kung Mahawi Man ang Ulap. Importante ang role ni Iwa sa naturang Sine Novela ng GMA-7 dahil siya ang primera contravida dito bilang si Rita, na nagpapahirap kay Catherine (Nadine Samonte).
