MANILA - Actress-model Maricar Reyes has finally made a public appearance more than a month after the sex video scandal broke out.

Reyes, along with other ABS-CBN talents, guested on musical variety show “ASAP ‘09” Sunday during Star Magic’s 17th anniversary celebration. 

Star Magic (formerly ABS-CBN Talent Center) is ABS-CBN’s homebased training and management program.

As one of Star Magic’s fashionistas, a stunning Reyes strutted on stage wearing a violet designer gown. She was escorted by young actor Jason Abalos.  

Reyes, who is also a practicing doctor, and cosmetic surgeon Hayden Kho had dated for a year when they were still in medical school.

Mellisa Ricks, Empress Shuck and Lauren Young take on the roles of Dina Bonnevie, Snooky Serna and Maricel Soriano in the television remake of “Underage.” The initial offering of “ABS-CBN’s Your Song Presents” features the adaptations of some well-loved Pinoy teen flicks from the 80’s. Regal Films released “Underage” as directed by Joey Gosiengfiao based on the story and screenplay by Toto Belano in 1980. It launched Dina, Snooky and Maricel Soriano as young-adult actress. It co-stars Matt Evans, Valene Montenegro, AJ Perez, Rafael Rosell, William Lorenzo and Sylvia Sanchez. The TV version will not be as sexy as the original film. STIR  met Melissa, Empress and Lauren during “Underage’s” media launch and here’s what they shared about their roles:

Although Diether Ocampo is theoretically still married to Kristine Hermosa, he opened up that he had moved on concerning his broken relationship with her.

With a lot of things going in his entertainment career, his business undertakings and K.I.D.S. Foundation, he hopes the “lucky in life but not lucky in love” saying does not apply to him. You see, he’s single now.

The marriage’s annulment is under petition and the buzz is the decision to approve or disapprove it will come out soon. Kristine has also moved on. She’s dating again.

Yes, Ruffa Gutierrez and Lani Mercado snubbed each other when their paths crossed during the second night of the wake of Manay Ethel Ramos’ mother. You see, the former beauty queen had a relationship with Bong Revilla when they were still very young. Ruffa and Bong turned boyfriend/girlfriend when they were newbies in showbiz. Lani, on the other hand, seems cautious of every woman her husband had romantic relationship with. Allegedly, Lani just smiled when a close friend asked what happened between her and Ruffa during the wake. It’s clear that both women have not moved on despite the many years that passed.
